The victim of Monday night’s shooting at a Texarkana, Texas, apartment complex has died and a suspect has been arrested, authorities said Tuesday.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m. Monday, Beau Gibson, 21, was shot in the head at his home in Building 5 at the Woodlands II apartments in the 1000 block of College Drive. The shooter fled the scene.

Austin Kyle Davis, 22, of Texarkana, Ark., was arrested about an hour later in connection with the shooting, said Sgt. Shawn Fitzgerald, Texarkana, Texas, Police Department spokesman.
