Brad Howard of Van Buren, Ark., was recently hired as the communications director for U.S. Rep. Mike Ross , D-Ark., in his Washington, D.C., congressional office.

Howard is a 2002 graduate of Van Buren High School and a 2006 cum laude graduate of Hendrix College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in politics.

He also has a master’s degree in public communication from American University in Washington, D.C.

Howard previously worked as an associate executive at Stone Ward of Little Rock, an advertising, marketing and public relations firm.
