Rose Hill gets $20 million facelift

The Housing Authority of Texarkana, Texas, was assured $20 million Monday from the government to replace three public housing units with mixed-income and single-family residences.

The money comes in the form of The HOPE VI (Homeownership Opportunities for People Everywhere) Grant, which targets substandard public housing properties for improvement. It is awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
