The Ark-Tex Council of Governments Board of Directors will meet at 10 a.m. today at International Paper in Domino, Texas, for a tour of the mill as well as a regular meeting.

During its regular meeting, the board will consider approving an application by Bowie County resident Dirk DeBoer, who is seeking approval to operate an existing dairy farm in the county.

The farm has 1,200 head of cattle.

The application, if approved, will be sent to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for an environmental assessment request.
