Residents of Haworth, Okla., will get a chance to pay their respects to a hometown soldier Friday.

The body of Army Staff Sgt. Brandon W. Farley will arrive Friday in Idabel, Okla. Farley, 30, died in combat last week in Afghanistan.

Although the exact time of arrival is still pending, Farley’s coffin will be escorted down Central Street in downtown Idabel to Conley-White Funeral Home, said Funeral Director David White.

White said the procession down Central Street, which will be escorted by the Patriot Guard, will be open to the public.
