City displays lighted wreath downtown during storm to see if holiday product good enough to purchase

One of Texarkana’s Christmas decorations made its appearance a little early, as a lighted wreath was attached to a downtown light pole several days ago. The cities are investing in new decorations this year, purchased from Waco-based Don Bowman Designs.

“It’s a trial,” said Texarkana, Texas, City Manager Larry Sullivan. “It’s a prototype the company we’re looking at makes. They did that up specifically for us to look at.”
