National forests in Arkansas and Oklahoma celebrate National Public Lands Day with fee-free day Saturday for most day-use sites.

Most day-use fees will also be waived on Sunday in honor of new citizens of the United States as part of the interagency “This Land is Your Land” initiative.

Fees will be waived for all visitors for day-use sites at national forests. The exceptions to the fee waiver are areas operated by private concessionaires, state parks and Blanchard Springs Caverns. The waived fee does not include overnight camping.
