Ashdown man pleads guilty to theft of RRAD property

An Ashdown, Ark., man pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to stealing wire and various tools from Red River Army Depot last December.

Jody Wilson, 50, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Caroline Craven of the Eastern District of Texas with defense attorney Michael Friedman of Texarkana. Friedman was standing in for his brother, Errol Friedman. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Denise Simpson.

Wilson, a former supervisor at RRAD, was indicted last month by a federal grand jury.
