Work will end this year for about 150 Red River Army Depot employees in term-appointment positions, but layoffs in permanent positions are not occurring, plant officials said.

“Red River Army Depot is not laying off any people; but some employees are in term appointments that are expiring at this time,” according to a statement composed by the RRAD Command Group.

Officials said the term spaces are due to expire by the end of the calendar year, but those currently in term appointments are urged to apply for permanent positions.
