The National Public Lands Clean Up Day will be Saturday at Millwood Lake.

Activities start at 9 a.m. and include trash cleanup and trail clearing at Saratoga Park and Millwood State Park.

Lunch will be provided at noon for all volunteers at the new Beard’s Bluff Birding Observation Deck, said Brooke Kervin, a spokesman for the Corps of Engineers.

Volunteers should bring gloves, hand tools and insect repellent.

“Join us in keeping Millwood Lake a beautiful place for family recreation, camping and fishing,” said Kervin.
