A new task force addressing health concerns and code violations will soon hit the streets of Texarkana, Texas.

The Environmental Services division is combining duties and governance of code enforcement, animal and vector control and health inspections. By examining citizen complaints, city officials realized many were multi-faceted and included more than one concern.
