A four-vehicle accident Monday afternoon sent two to a local hospital and left other drivers slightly shaken up, officials said.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Sharon Shipp, 56, of Texarkana, Texas, was northbound on Sowell Lane when it was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup driven by George Porter, 63, of Texarkana, Texas, which ran the eastbound red light on New Boston Road, said Officer Billy McAnally, traffic investigator for the Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.
