Good times never seemed so good4.68-carat diamond called ‘Sweet Caroline’ found at Murfreesboro
A retired Flint, Mich., high school counselor and golf coach recently unearthed a 4.68-carat white diamond from the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, Ark.
Richard Burke and his wife, Carol, found the diamond Sept. 20 in a shallow ravine near the west drain area of the park’s 35.5-acre search area. Burke and his wife had been searching for about three hours when the diamond was unearthed.
