An afternoon of fun in an old-fashioned, County Fair atmosphere will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of First Assembly of God (The Old Lighthouse), 3401 W. Seventh St.

The annual event draws hundreds of participants and is a fundraiser for the church’s local and foreign missions ministry.

It includes a chili cookoff, a lumberjack competition in which entrants can display their wood-splitting abilities, a men’s golf challenge, a cookie and pie bakeoff, a scrapbook competition and a pie-eating contest.
