The autumn installment of Movies in the Park is about to begin in Texarkana, Texas, featuring the Halloween tradition, “The Town That Dreaded Sundown.”

The Texarkana-based thriller is a realistic account of the unsolved Phantom killings, one tied to Spring Lake Park where the film fun takes place twice each year.

Parks and Recreation Manager Robby Robertson said the free event is open to all ages but the movie is geared toward adults.
