Depot breaks ground on new center

Facility will improve efficiency

Red River Army Depot began the first of a three-phase project Wednesday as ground was broken for the Maneuver Systems Sustainable Center, a facility designed to improve the workplace and save the government money.

RRAD Commander Col. Dan Mitchell said the project promises to boost the depot’s efficiency in producing military vehicles.
