Carol Blankenship Kuykendall will be honored Saturday as the 2008 Distinguished Alumni from Liberty School as alumni celebrate this weekend with a reunion.

Kuykendall, a retired educator, attended Liberty School from the first through 10th grades.

“My mother was a teacher there. In those days you graduated from Liberty and then attended Texas Senior High School the last two years,” she said.
