Nash, Texas, city officials expect their general revenue income to bring in nearly $1.2 million during this fiscal year and expect to spend about as much.

During a special meeting Sept. 22, the Nash City Council agreed to approving just slightly more than $1,199,000 in general fund budget expenditures for fiscal year 2008-09.

Of the nearly $1.2 million, city finance records show more than $554,370 will go to employee salaries, including a 5 percent across-the-board pay raise.
