A bid of $10.4 million for a new intermediate school was unanimously approved Tuesday night by the Pleasant Grove Independent School District Board of Trustees.

Altech Inc. of Texarkana, Texas, brought in the lowest bid at $10,450,600 and was awarded the contract.

“We were pleased with the number of competitive bids and the climate for bidding,” said Superintendent Margaret Davis, who explained the district is already working with Altech on a number of other projects on several of its campuses.
