Texarkana, Ark., police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Wednesday at the E-Z Mart store in the 4500 block of North State Line Avenue.

Officers responded about 1:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 call, said Officer Kristi Mitchell, spokesman for the TAPD.

After interviewing the clerk and viewing store surveillance tapes, officers noted that an adult male wearing a red hoodie sweatshirt and black pants entered the store and asked to purchase an item requiring identification.
