Texas A&M University-Texarkana political science professor Gary Bugh will host a seminar on voter registration from noon to 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday in Room 108/111 of the Aikin Building on campus.

The seminar is designed to help voters jump some of the hurdles associated with the voting process.

“Most states won’t accept voters’ registration forms within 30 days of the election,” Bugh said.

He has started an initiative called Texarkana Votes to help residents register, vote and evaluate the election process.
