United Blood Services is partnering with Gander Mountain for a pre-hunting season blood drive 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Potential donors can schedule a blood drive appointment by visiting www.UnitedBloodServices.org or calling 903-277-6602.

Those who are eligible to donate blood are encouraged to give now and then once again between Thanksgiving and New Year’s because businesses and schools hold fewer blood drives during the holidays.

Donors receive a free cholesterol test with their blood donation.
