Sharing her personal battle with breast cancer, Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts brought a message of hope and an example of courage Friday to the Wadley Foundation and Guild’s Bringing Hope Home breast cancer benefit.

Roberts told of her journey and the lessons she has learned from sharing her experience. One lesson, which originated from her mother, became number eight on her list of rules to live by—Make your Mess your Message.
