One arrest early Friday morning put an end to a number of man hours involved in an attempt to solve 16 commercial burglaries in Texarkana, Ark., authorities said.

Kevin Laderrick Ellison, 33, of Texarkana, was arrested in connection with a string of commercial burglaries that span across Texarkana, Ark., between County and State Line Avenues, said Kristi Mitchell, Texarkana, Ark., Police Department spokeswoman.

The string of burglaries go back to Sept. 2. But it wasn’t until the latest burglary at the Cargile House on State Line Avenue that Ellison was apprehended.
