Miller County prosecutors have officially charged a Texarkana man with two counts of capital murder for allegedly using a knife to kill his mother and stepfather in August.

Bronson Slade Scoggins, is scheduled for arraignment before Circuit Judge Kirk Johnson next week in connection with the deaths of Sandra and Albert Walsh.

Scoggins is being held in the Miller County jail without bail.

A capital murder conviction carries the possibility of death by lethal injection or life in an Arkansas prison without the possibility of parole.
