Opportunities Inc. offered its expertise Friday to Red Lick Christian Pre-School Too for developmental screening.

The assessment is based on the Denver II Screening Test, which is used to examine children from birth to six years old. It was originally designed at the University of Colorado Medical Center, Denver, Colo., in 1969. It consists of 125 items that are divided into four parts: social/personal, fine motor function, language and gross motor function.
