A Bowie County jury sentenced a man to 40 years in prison last week for robbing a Texarkana, Texas, gas station at gunpoint.

Quincy LaJames Nelson, 26, was convicted of committing a Sept. 11, 2007, holdup of Shelby’s Exxon on Texas Boulevard.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Michael Shepherd and First Assistant District Attorney Jerry Rochelle.
