Arkansas personal and property taxes are due Friday, Miller County officials said.

After Oct.10, there is a 10 percent late penalty charge. If the tax payment is mailed, it must be postmarked by Oct. 10 to avoid the late penalty.

Statements may be paid in person at the tax collector’s office, 400 Laurel St., Suite 111. To help speed up the process, bring statements when paying in person or include the statement with the mailed-in payment.
