State officials say Bowie County is poised to see marked job growth, and the Texarkana area is a significant factor for the county’s favorable economic outlook.

As part of Texas in Focus: Upper East Texas, a report that provides information on factors that may affect economic growth in the region, Texas Comptroller Susan Combs projects Bowie County will realize 19.4 percent job growth within four years.
