Quadrangle continues today in downtown Texarkana

Glorious fall weather and a sense of relaxed fun welcomed the 27th annual Quadrangle Festival’s first day on Saturday in downtown Texarkana.

The Texarkana Museums System festival continues today with a bevy of family-friendly activities, food and craft vendors and music.

On Saturday, Jamie Fischer of the All American Lumberjack Show was one of the entertainers on hand to demonstrate the abilities and tasks of a modern lumberjack.

“We compete head to head in about 10 different events,” Fischer said. “It’s fun to compete. We get the audience involved.”
