The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 278 will host a public 20th Anniversary Re-dedication Ceremony at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 marking the construction of the Korea-Vietnam Memorial at West Seventh Street and North State Line Avenue.

The ceremony will consist of the reading of names of local servicemen and women engraved upon the memorial.

The VVA 278 took over the memorial’s construction in December 1987 from local officials who had worked on the project for about five years. Following the memorial’s redesign, the VVA and other volunteers completed construction in 1988. Log-In to view full story or view our Registration Guide.
