Rescuing a man from a burning house and solving a murder investigation are not common occurrences.

That’s why Nashville, Ark., Mayor Mike Reese wanted to commend four investigators and a firefighter as community heroes.

“We have heroes in the fire department and in law enforcement who needed to be recognized,” said Reese.
