The governance group of the local water district may have a simpler name after they meet Monday.

The first action agenda item for the meeting is selecting a brand for the entity.

“We didn’t hire anybody to do it, we took two individuals who are extremely talented in marketing and asked them if they would come up with an idea,” said John Jarvis, chairman of the district’s steering committee.
