The Texarkana, Texas, City Council will hold a year-end workshop today to review projects that need to be finished in 2008 and ones that can move into next year.

The city will form a Blue Ribbon Committee of community volunteers next year, which will help prioritize major projects.

“The ... workshop will focus on capital projects that need to be considered in this fiscal year,” said City Manager Larry Sullivan. “These are projects that cannot wait for Blue Ribbon Committee consideration since they need attention this year.”
