Scenes of an Olde Time Christmas will roll through downtown Texarkana tonight as the annual Christmas parade kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Visions of sugarplums, home and hearth will join Santa for a night ride through the city. The procession of classic Christmas scenes, marching bands and drill teams will follow an altered route this year.

Beginning at Hazel and Broad streets, the parade will travel west to State Line Avenue and from there will go north to the Downtown Post Office.
