Firefighters stop house fireVolunteers find outside structure engulfed in smoke
![]() Red Lick-Leary, Nash and Pleasant Grove volunteer firefighters work to douse a blaze Sunday afternoon at 12 Dunham Drive in Pleasant Grove. The fire started after coals from the fireplace were discarded in a trash can the coals ignited some of the trash and the fire quickly spread to the side of the house. Pleasant Grove, Nash and C-5 Red Lick-Leary volunteer fire departments responded to a fire at 12 Dunham Drive. Firefighters found the outside of the house engulfed in smoke and a fire ignited inside along the wall, said Chief Joel Moss of the PGVFD. The fire began after the homeowner cleaned out the fireplace and disposed of the ashes in a trash can inside the house.
