Big changes will hit Texarkana roads in February when a portion of the new interstate frontage-road system switches to one-way operation.

When completed, all frontage roads running along Interstate 30 in Texarkana will be one-way, with sweeping turning lanes at each overpass.

The frontage roads between Summerhill Road and Kings Highway will make the February switch to one-way but will remain single-lane for a while. The future outgoing lane will be temporarily blocked off to prevent drivers from using it.
