Woman charged in sales of nonexistent cookie dough

A De Queen, Ark., woman has been charged with theft by deception for allegedly selling cookie dough for a military homecoming for soldiers returning from Iraq.

Julie Milligan Owen, 25, of De Queen, was recently charged with 19 counts of misdemeanor theft by deception in connection with the nonexistent cookie dough. She has been released from the Sevier County jail on a $19,000 bond.
