In the few minutes it took to answer the phone Friday afternoon, a fire ignited that claimed a Washington, Ark., family’s home of 15 years.

After they married in February 1994, Randy and Sharon Berry, along with their two children, moved into their house on County Road 309 in Washington.

A short time later, they welcomed another child and the five of them began making the house a home.

For nearly 15 years, the Berrys made family memories and collected heirlooms that would one day be passed down to future generations.
