The Texas Department of Public Safety seized nearly $15,000 of marijuana during two recent traffic stops on Interstate 30, authorities said.

On Saturday, DPS trooper Josh Vera stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near Naples, Texas.

The driver, Raymundo Silva Jr., of Edinburg, Texas, “exhibited suspicious behavior prompting a probable cause search,” said Sylvia Jennings, DPS spokeswoman.
