An early morning fight between two inmates at the Miller County jail landed one in the hospital Sunday, officials said.

The altercation began in the felony section of the jail. When guards regained control of the situation, one inmate was left needing medical attention. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation of injuries before being returned to the jail, said Sheriff Ron Stovall.
