After nearly four years, the fate of a proposed landfill in Red River County could be decided today.

Final oral arguments from both proponents and opponents of a proposed landfill near Avery, Texas, are scheduled to go before the Texas 3rd Court of Appeals at 9 a.m. today.

Both sides are scheduled to present oral arguments before the court.
