A warehouse building at a Halliburton operations branch in Texarkana was destroyed by fire Tuesday evening.

The fire started somewhere in the middle of the building that houses the bagging area shortly before 5 p.m., said Liberty-Eylau Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief David Wesselhoft. The building contained pallets and empty bags, which added fuel to the growing flames.
