The Cossatot River State Park will offer programs on Cossatot wildflowers and winter tree identification during events scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.

Cossatot River State Park is about 11 miles east of Wickes, Ark., on Arkansas Highway 278.

The programs Saturday include:

Lichen, Moss and More—10 a.m.—Is it like a lichen, more of a moss or a fungus among us? The park’s interpreter will help visitors discover the lifestyles and significance of lichens, moss and fungi. The meeting place will be the visitor’s center’s classroom.
