Compassionate people looking for an opportunity to volunteer with a community organization might fit in well with Domestic Violence Prevention Inc.

The organization is conducting a volunteer training from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21.

“We’re basically looking for volunteers in every area at this point,” said Ashley Smith, Domestic Violence Prevention volunteer coordinator. “We need people that can be very sympathetic to other people’s plights or circumstances, people that are naturally outgoing and just work really well with other people.”
