Though one commissioner abstained from voting, the rezone and specific use permit needed to place a manufactured home near St. James Day School on North State Line Avenue was approved 5-0 Monday.

Anna and Peter Fielder were requesting to place the structure on property belonging to Anna’s grandmother. Anna Fielder said the couple moved here to help care for the grandmother but a recent discovery that Anna’s mother is ill has added an additional hardship.

All three generations have been living in one home but need more space.
