Students celebrate park project

College Hill Elementary School celebrated with an Arkansas Pride in Our Park event Friday at Bobby Ferguson Park.

The school donated nine park benches painted with murals of the natural state’s most endearing assets—nature and wild critters.

“We started working on the design in the fourth grade,” said Emily Green, who is now a sixth-grade student at CHES. “They’ll educate people about Arkansas. We worked on them as a team to show people about our beautiful state.”
