Vietnam veteran gives back to wounded

As Atlanta, Texas, resident and former Army Maj. John Fox watched a recent news program, he heard about a special volunteer aid program for wounded military veterans.

He immediately took up a cause.

“This nonprofit organization has been around since about 2005, but I first heard of it while watching (the late) Tony Snow on Fox News,” said Fox, now 73.

“I’ve always supported our wounded veterans and I decided to start going around to the different veterans organizations so I could speak about the Wounded Warrior Project.”
