Tickets are still available for the 2009 Texarkana Economic Forecast Luncheon.

The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Great Room of the Truman Arnold Center at Texarkana College.

Along with a panel of local industry leaders, John Duca and Dr. Larry Davis are scheduled to speak.

Duca is senior policy adviser for the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, and Davis is professor of economics at Texas A&M University-Texarkana.

Tickets are $50, and the deadline to register and purchase tickets is 5 p.m. today.
