A former De Queen, Ark., computer technician, originally charged with Internet stalking of a child, pleaded guilty recently to a charge of sexual indecency with a child, prosecutor Bryan Chesshir said.

Jamie Powell, 32, who now lives in Grannis, Ark., pleaded guilty Feb. 26 to sexual indecency with a child after additional investigation by Chesshir.

He is scheduled to be sentenced March 12 by 9th Judicial District Judge Charles Yeargan in the Sevier County Courthouse.
